So you don’t like the way your hydraulic clutch cable is routed on your new Honda CRF450R? No stress, neither did we, so here is an example through photos on how to route your clutch cable behind the front number plate like a normal dirt bike.
-step one remove the clutch perch.
-step two remove the gas tank.
-step three route the clutch hose through the frame. You can squeeze it through behind the radiator.
-step four take extra slack out of the clutch hose. You need every inch you can get. (I laughed after this was typed).
-step five I like to use the electric wire holder to keep the hose in-line and tight against the frame.
-step six route cable up to the bar and mount it like a conventional style routed hose.
